Getting US Pay-as-you-go SIM card

Post by Fat Bob » 5th Jan, '13, 17:18

I want to get a US Pay-as-you-go SIM card for my phone. I'd like to get it before my trip in early Feb so I can have access to my phone the minute I touch down (I may have to phone people depending if my plane is late or the queues at immigration are crap).

Does anyone know if one can be purchased in Singapore? Other options are to get one off ebay or Amazon and drop it into my Borderlinx address?

Cheers in advance.

Do you have to provide identification before buying one? Might be the case since 9/11. Why don't you get one of our US residents to buy one and mail it to you?
