Tri-Nations - Aus v NZ

10 mins: 8-8. Two charge-down kicks lead to two tries. It's almost "your turn to score, no, your turn".

12 mins: 15-8 to Kiwis. Bloody hell, LEARN TO TACKLE!

But at least my tips should be good.

I think Rocky's comment at full time sums up most of the game. When asked if he would take any positives from the game, his answer was " I can't think of any at the moment ".

Somewhat better 2nd half from The Wobblies, notwithstanding being a man short after Mitchell was sent off. Pockock looked good yet again.

But the AB's were simply better in every aspect. Going to be tough in Auckland next weekend!

Softest Red card I've ever seen.

Positive from the match ? Realising the All Blacks have peaked a year too early *again* :)

Missed the first half tackle/no tackle, but I did hear the ref on several occasions tell both captains to stop their teams slowing the quick tap or throws. Mitchell deserved the second yellow card.

That's all the Channel 7 Commentators could come up with too. This does, of course, rather assumes that NZ have peaked, and are not still on the way up.

"I really love you" she said. "Is that the champagne talking" he asked. "No" she laughed. "That's me talking to the champagne"

1st yellow was maybe a bit soft/harsh but he can't complain about the second. just stupidity

Our hockey game was like that rugby game. Bunch of fit youngsters in a well-drilled team versus a bunch of old fat bastards who couldn't get 10 on the pitch to start! Guess which team we were?

They won 8-1 and they still made me MoM. Go figure!

Both captains had been called to the side and spoken to/warned about slowing the game down just prior to the ball slap. The first card was harsh though.
As for peaking tooo soon, it has crossed my mind but I have chosen to dismiss the thought. Win or lose a game, tournament or title the Blacks will always be No 1 to me…even when they play like a bunch of handbag swirling pussies.
Looking forward to this coming weeks game on home ground

Whether the first card was harsh or not is irrelevant. Knowing that he would be sent off for a second offence and then doing something the referee had specifically warned about was utter stupidity.

I think you're missing the point Burby. It doesn't really matter whether the ABs have peaked too early or not, it's the seed of doubt that's planted into every Kiwi when you mention peaking too early. It's like fishing with dynamite, way too easy.

I have never considered fishing with dynamite to be very sporting but then maybe it’s just me and the way I’ve be brought-up.
