The closing ceremony - we managed to stay up, I think I only fell asleep twice. Ah well, it was all as whacked out and eccentric as the opening one, so for that I think we should be thankful
Not so happy about the Spice Girls earworm I have this morning, however.
And as I pondered to Neo, what will we do when all the 60s bands we roll out for all these things pop their clogs? Will Take That be the new Who? Somehow I doubt it.
(Kudos to Sir Gary Barlow though, horrible personal tragedy and still managed to get up there.)
