TV to watch

Need a good place to eat ? Destination for Holiday ? Can't find a decent Handyman ? Or want to tell the world about your experiences ? This is the place.

Gave up on heroes a while back. Had good potential but never really went anywhere.

Heroes 1st season: dug it. 2nd season: tolerated it. 3rd season: there was a 3rd season?

With jedi there, heroes just kept going somewhere, and then there'd be this huge shift which almost rebooted the story. Probably once or twice a season.

Lost where ever it got to and never tried to get back in.

Agree with Heroes, but I stuck it through because I needed to know the ending (this season I think).

This is the last season of Lost and it's starting to get good again, the parallel universes are becoming one.

Ugly Betty ended last weekend. No more. It was ok light hearted stuff that you didn't need to think about. Crackers will miss it.

Underbelly S03, The Office (US) and House and the three main shows I try to catch.

If you haven't seen Spartacus you really should check it out. Nearly finished Season 1 and loving every minute of it.

Lost is awesome.

A show about cars with a nob presenter.

...and yet I love watching it

Top Gear - they have hit a formula that defies the odds.

We've been watching Warehouse 13, which has just started its second season.

It's a sci-fi series which follows two US Secret Service agents who have been reassigned to a secret warehouse which is used to store supernatural objects. They are tasked to retrieve missing objects and investigate reports of new ones. It's been described as "part The X-Files, part Raiders of the Lost Ark and part Moonlighting."

Good fun, and it's been getting better as the show develops.

To claim one writer "wrote Doctor Who" is a little large. To claim he he took over the lead writting role from the 5th series of the current set of Doctor Who is probably more correct.

But yes, I thought it was veery good, and will be looking out for the next Sherlock.

Just caught the first couple of episodes of Stargate Universe: so far very good. Set differently to Stargate SG1 and Atlantis, this time they've been trapped aboard a space ship which is currently taking them around the universe at random. Seems more like a proper discovery scifi series, and so far not as cheesey as the previous two series.

If you like the darker episodes of Star Trek Enterprise and Voyager, then this might be for you.

"Modern Family", funny American show about a guy, his hot young Colombian wife, her son from a previous marriage, the guy's gay son and his husband, their adopted Vietnamese daughter, and the guy's daughter and her husband and three kids. It all works out to be pretty funny.

"Boondocks" is a good cartoon with lots of political / social commentary humor, done in an adult way.
