Ash flow on effect major city hotels

Post by Tas » 19th Apr, '10, 15:29

By the way kids. A flow on effect of the flight delays appears to be impacting on the accomodation in Shanghai at the moment (or there are one heck of a lot of conferences on!) Just a flag to any of you who may have left booking business travel to major China cities a bit last minute.

I'm having to pay 1450RMB/night to get into basic Crowne Plaza room because all other usual 650- 800 RMB/night haunts are packed. (and it would have assisted if certain admin assistants had done the job last Friday when asked..........)

and when you do find somewhere, it is over 1400RMB/night, and it's still run by a bunch of monkeys that can't do a single thing correctly first time!

it's more an outlet to write it down and stop yelling at them for being a bunch of ************, I'm hoping it will save me all the karma I've lost in the last 3hrs.
