Science is Real!

Postby Lili Von Shtupp » 12th Apr, '10, 09:12

The first two videos are from the recent They Might Be Giants album, Science is Real!, catchy pop songs about the planets, paleontology, chemistry and more. The last video is from TMBG's podcasts, which target the kindergarten set, and is a song that has been on regular rotation here since Wolfie was a toddler. We'll see if it warps his life or saves it...

There's more on Youtube, I'm a Paleontologist, The Planets, etc, check it out.

Where's our board heretic, Joseph27? I thought the Science is Real one would be right up his alley.

Yes, I figure once we see the 3 you've posted we'll likely want to look at some of the related links that show up on You Tube.

Awesome - thanks for the message... its great to teach your kids catchy songs that make sense. I still have stupid tunes in my head from catholic school days.
In dark ages people are best guided by religion as in a pitch black night a blind man is the best guide because he knows the roads and paths better than a man who can see; when daylight comes however it is foolish to use the blind man as a guide...
