I think this is hilarious. I have a friend who has been waiting to up grade his iPhone 3 for nearly a year waiting for the iPhone 5 to come out.

Must say, the number of apple fan boys or iphone fan boys that upgrade their product after a year or less to me just means the original product is a bag of shit. The only time I've willing upgraded my phone out of contract is when I bought a SonyEricson: guess what...it was shit!

Far be it for me to defend Apple, but I'm not sure what all the wailing and gnashing of teeth is for. The 4S has a faster processor, better camera, more network and connectivity options,new software features and better battery life.
Sounds like a better phone to me.
Or is it purely an aesthetic thing and iFanBois need to see something that looks new before they can be happy ? Then how do they cope when the Apple laptops and desktops get internal upgrades with the externals changing ?

Not sure what the fuss is either. I can't see it was unexpected. But then again a FB says I'm on a 2 year contact with another year to go, so perfect for the next upgrade. It's hard to imagine what new design features would have made me want to upgrade early. In the meantime iOS 5 will give me some new features. I might finally succumb to an iPad when the '3' comes out next year.
