Can you try it against a non-Singapore based server? See what the results are from, say, the US or Europe?

I was going to ask the same thing! All that bandwidth doesn't amount for much if there's a slow link to OS, which is where most of the downloading is sourced from. Still i am envious. What is available in Thailand is about what I had in Singapore 12 years ago!!

I did mine to Singapore and California - the rates were the same or near enough. But I've only got 12Mbps cable broadband rather than fibre optic.
