I good discussion was had earlier around the usefulness of Androids as Tablet computers.

However, I know people who have this and they like it.

Personally, I use my laptop just enough so as not to be able to go to a Pad yet. Seems the various things I need are just not available. Hence, I'm waiting a year and then buying either a Pad if they have improved or an Ultrabook like the Asus Zenbook if they haven't.

Knowing a few people who own the Eepad and other Android tablets, I reckon your comment say more about your ability to pick up a new os/interface than the tablet itself.

Thanks for your patronising comment.

I has no problem with the 0/S interface

The issues were slow clunky video playback
Lack of apps developed for the tablet ( such as flipboard)
Battery life although longer with the keyboard attached tended to drain quickly when in standby
Generally slow response from the touch screen
Cramped keyboard
