Wiping a lap top
So I have an ancient lap top that Mini uses for games etc, but it's really, really, slow.
What's the quickest way of wiping it clean and starting again so that he can surf?
(And I've no idea where the recovery disk is, if I ever made one ...)

Re: Wiping a lap top
I think you're best bet is checking the vendor website for instructions on how to make/download recovery disks.

The subject and the fact that a (suspected) woman started the thread made me first think that she was talking about cleaning the screen... gd&r

OK I screwed up. I tried to delete the post because I have never met Scrummy Mummy. I thought the OP was someone else. Also, who hasn't made a typo on a post.
I guess we're not in Kansas anymore.

Nooo, don't take it so seriously - we're only having a laugh with you.
She is a woman, and she's quite nice too.

Quite? Quite?
I was a bit worried there, as I couldn't remember meeting Sluggo. I thought it was early dementia.

Could be worse. She could have been called "not quite a woman", many of whom reside in Bangkok.Fat Bob wrote:Better than being "quite a woman"....
