The Ashes - Second Test

Post by Fat Bob » 3rd Dec, '10, 08:13

Woke up, logged onto computer, saw the BBC text.....WTF!

Great start England! 1-2 in the first over. Not sure what you call getting out when you've not even faced a ball. And Punter for a golden duck! Lovely, well done England!

Diamond duck.

3 down now, but Hussey and Watson rebuilding.

Liking that! Let's hope it's the English attack and not the pitch doing the work! Another innings like last sunday and you know what'll be my sunday morning "What's made you happy today?" post!

Hmmmm.....looking at the Aussie scorecard, I've seen plenty of England scorecards look like that: a few ducks and few on less than 10, and only 3 or 4 getting more than 20.

I believe that's advantage England. Hopefully stay in tomorrow a bit and get a good score for the Aussies to chase.

Mr Oz, time to celebrate. You got 3 times as many wickets today than you did yesterday!

Well played England, a comprehensive victory. That lines up the rest of the series just lovely.

1 up and 3 to play, it's going to be a doozy!

I'm at the stage where if the selectors continue to select the current players, I hope England hammer us in the remaining tests.
