Boom boom.

Great performance(s) by Team GB overnight. And Michael Phelps ends his Olympic career on high note, tremendous stuff.

Hopefully Andy Murray will get Gold in his 2 matches to come!

Great win for Andy Murray over Federer in straight sets, . 1 down , 1 to go!

And Serena & Venus win their 3rd doubles Gold medal. Way to go.

Team GB are impressive!! They are putting the 'GREAT' back in to Great Britain...there'll be a fair few golden post boxes when the games come to an end, courtesy of Royal Mail...

It's been fantastic to watch, loving the noise generated by the crowd, and even when there's no GB athletes competing, the other athletes are enjoying it, if you can believe the interviews.

Fantastic show by London, well done, and well done to all athletes.

Indeed K - they have had such a major rivalry over the years, yet obvious respect as well.

While the media gets itself into a Whinging Poms/Aussies frenzy, it's good to see the athletes just get on with their jobs. Rivalry that pushes them on is good.

Got the first (?) doping case now.. women's shot put ..

Btw. is it just me or did all the athletes tremendously shape up for those Olympics? I mean there was hardly any athlete who didn't show off their six-pack. Or did they finally find a fat-burning pill?

Some bloody scary six-packs eh Lichty! Never noticed them so obvious before and, not doubting their fitness, wonder if some of them were highlighted by an airbrush.

OK it's livening up a bit now. Not sure who told Russell Brand he could sing but it seems to have been a turning point. Shame I'm almost asleep :)

Apparently plastic surgeons are no longer getting requests for a Kardashian bum - people want an instant Ennis six-pack.

(Not joking.)
