congratulations!!!

do make sure to separate them before they reach maturity, as adult hamsters tend to fight for territory ...

they are russian Winter White Hamsters which are not solitary like the bigger ones. So we should be ok keeping them together. had a couple of little spats but then find them sleeping next to each other.

and they are both females (I hope) so no little ones

Sure you didn't find them dead next to each other?

Ps Did MRS RB know you were getting her the hamsters? It is rather a cool present.
My DLB recently gave me flowers for my birthday and while I loved them it is kinda the easy way out. :) Please don't tell him I said that!

Our poor hamster had to be put down after getting a horrible tumor on it's back. It was gross.

no she hadnt a clue. she often looked at them when we went past the pet shop. she was shocked but very happy
I also got her a watch (so she would stop using mine) and a nice bunch of flowers. also prepared dinner for her last night which we had on the balcony
