Phoebe URGENTLY needs a new home

Post by Kooky » 7th Dec, '08, 11:25

Phoebe's owners are leaving Singapore on Dec 14th and, for reasons unknown to me, Phoebe needs a new home.

She's a 4 year-old Tonkinese (apparently that's a cross between Siamese and Burmese) with pedigree papers, de-sexed, and I'm told by her petsitter that she is a very sweet girl. Her owners say that she needs to be an inside cat as she gets sunburned with her fine white fur on her ears.

Please pass the word around as this is becoming urgent, and call 98282763 if you can give Phoebe a loving new home.

Oh she's so pretty, and I'd love to take her in but my brood is already a handful! If I brought another one home they'd lynch me in my sleep. I hope she finds a good home!
A woman walked into a pub and asked the barman for a double entendre. So he gave it to her.

For a cat that needs to stay indoors, their choice of photos to publish seems strange.

Awwwww. Seriously, though. I have 3 cats, 2 of whom have been insanely territorial over me ever since Wolfie was born. If I even look in the direction of another cat, I'm in huge trouble. :(

She's beautiful, and I'd take her in an instant, only there's a geographical problem...

Co$t. Quarantine. And the poor cat would be traumatised - new location & owners who work long hours. Better not.
But she looks pretty - hope she finds new people.

"I really love you" she said. "Is that the champagne talking" he asked. "No" she laughed. "That's me talking to the champagne"

Ah no, I don't believe in pressganging anybody to take on a pet. They've got to be fully committed and in it for the long haul - not that I imagine for a second Lili would be anything else.

Phoebe apparently hasn't had any shots :roll: so my idea to send her to BettyBoo for Christmas is a bit of a non-starter. ;)

Oh she is gorgeous, even if I could persuade my two to let another in the house the timing is all wrong...we fly out the day before.
I hope she finds a good home.

I imagine it's not cheap these days. What's the current cost for:
  • pre-transport shots/certificates;
  • paperwork/applications;
  • freight;
  • quarantine/boarding fees;
  • etc?
Anyone know?

Are you saying you should be put in quarantine? :D
