Probably won't come back till dusk. Cats don't like moving in strange territory in the daylight.

He's probably holed up somewhere sleeping the restful sleep of the criminally insane.

Well, as you might expect, the lovely boy is now home with me [smilie=mango.gif]

So, he needs a name -- they've been calling him the same name as my son, so that's not going to work [smilie=rotflmao.gif] Suggestions?? You've all seen his picture.....

Take it easy there, Scummy :o This was a fairly large step for me -- I swore off cats 'forever' after my last one [smilie=rotflmao.gif]

This one appears to be as calm as they get - hope he's not deceiving me.....

I just got in, read 2 mails from the cat lady along the lines of:

1. Do you know .... would she be a good owner?
2. Well anyway, she's got him.

[smilie=yahoo.gif] [smilie=yahoo.gif] [smilie=yahoo.gif] It took a while, slinky family, but we gotcha.

So I'll just catch my breath and post the next one...

Please kooky, it's a male cat. No flacid names. Bluey would work. As would Ranga.

You know, I was thinking George in that he's rather curious  'Spore' sounds awful, sorry baloo, but it did bring to mind he could be Singapore Sammy :D

Mr. S is good with animal names, so we'll see what he comes up with later.

yay the Slinkies!!!

and yay Kooky!

i think you should name him Mandarin, cos he's orange and you got him over Chinese New Year :)
or Ji Li ('Gee Lee'): "ji" = orange, also refers to good luck and auspiciousness as in "da ji da li" (very common CNY greeting)

Seeing he's the first animal adopted through the Singaporum, I reckon the board should have a say in his name. Throw up your list of favorites in a poll and let the masses decide.

I think he may be the second but I'm not 100% certain so he's our first official adoption. :)

Either way. The Singaporum demand naming rights as payment for our match making services. That goes for adopted pets or conceived kids.
