Caught up with the series and really enjoying it - aorund 4 or 5 epsisodes left and another series being made I belive.
The George Freeman character is quite creepy, Peter Phelps doing a great job of playing him.

Re: Underbelly : A tale of two cities
Just watched the final episodes where Clark, Trimbole, Christopher Flannery get their judgement day(s). The final episode seemed a bit rushed and Trimbole's demise was a truly bad piece of drama.
Overall, nowhere near as good as Underbelly. Hopefully season 3 which bridges the gap between the two series will return to the original form.
3/5

Fully agree to that, Trimobele's death was more appropriate for a chick flick than this but overall enjoyed watching it. Sometimes characters appeared and dissappeared a bit too quick though

Don't drink the stuff myself, get Tiger Head every time, and it's not a good kind of head.....
Sounds a little like Saint Jack, though I don't know if the version you can buy here is uncut like the UK version I saw, though it was until a couple of years ago, banned here.

I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book. Groucho Marx

Notice there is now a re-run on Underbelly : Uncut at the moment and a "special" on the life and times of Trimbole. Guess it's called milking the moment.
