Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows

Post by Fat Bob » 26th Dec, '11, 10:52

Went to watch Sherlock 2 on Friday, again, another movie which is watchable. It's more of an action than sleuthing movie, but good script, a few explosions, some good slow-motion action, altogether another hit for Guy Ritchie.

Stephen Fry makes a good appearance as Holmes's brother, along with Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law reprising their roles as Holmes and Watson. Moriarty was played well and I'm sure he'll be back in the future.

If you liked the first then this will be likeable too.

Oh, other reason I liked it was that Gold Class charged me only for a glass of wine....a whole bottle was delivered though!
"Remember that you are an Englishman, and have consequently won first prize in the lottery of life" ...Cecil Rhodes.

Watched it on christmas day, good romp, but thought they tried to develop too much, and ended up skimping on story, who the hell cared about the gypsy? She never gelled, always seemed agawp....

Still will probably buy and watch again... :D
