Movie : Drive

Post by daffodil » 5th Feb, '12, 18:59

Ryan Gosling plays The Driver - stuntman / mechanic / getaway driver who gets involved with his neighbour played by Carey Mulligan and her young son. When her husband returns from prison owing protection money, the Driver agrees to help him out of the debt by driving the getaway car at a pawn shop robbery.

And then the mayhem begins!

I quite enjoyed the movie - good car chases, mystery surrounding the Driver although the OTT violence was a bit much for me. Then again, I am pretty squeamish.

3/5

Yeah I liked it too Daff, a good action film, loved the car stuff in it.
Did you watch it on DVD?

Yes, not sure how I would have coped with some of those scenes on the big screen!

I saw it in the cinema and I thought it was brutal but totally necessary for the storyline. I liked it a lot. 4/5.
