Al Qasr - Arab food, HV

Post by T2K » 14th Jul, '08, 09:56

Excellent menu selection, good prices, overall yummy. The artichoke salad was particularly nice. Give it a try.

This place is a hell of a lot better than Al Hamra, the other Arab place in Holland V. That place is expensive and mediocre.

Whereabouts is it in HV, T2K? We've been to Al Hamra a few times & found it decent, but if the one you went to is so much better I'd love to try it.

Were the nuts complimentary as well?

The nuts and pickles and olives and such were free, I think. Didn't check.

Hummus - didn't even order it. There are so many better things on the menu and that's so plain jane. The little spinach pastries were really good (Fatayeh?).
