Bar Bar Black Sheep

Post by expat yorkshire » 2nd Aug, '08, 17:25

Great concept - a bar in a hawker centre on Bukit Timah Road . The bar is at the front of the hawker centre and faces out to the road with a fairly large sized outdoor area .

Hoegarten pints at $10 and 3 really good (slightly upmarket) hawkers stalls serving Western , Thai and Indian Food. The food is served on proper plates not plastic plates.

The food was really good and the place was packed . Recommended.

I know the place it is good and really busy.
Then again to take trade from Brewerkz, well that wouldn't be hard. Brewerkz is SO expensive. :o Why do people go there? I have to admit I was really peeved when that little place got turned into one. It might not have been the best bar around before but it wasn't too bad, now it is just another "starbucks" bar/eatery (I hate that term but can't call it a restaurant).

$7 for a pint of stella at The Sheep compared to close to $14/15 at Brewerks
