Just got a sms from a friend saying she'd heard that the Dog and Bone had finally reopened. Anyone know where the new location is? Saint - where are you?

I'd already googled and looked at the website which had the OLD address. I'd figured that they'd not updated the website.

Well I've got the answer this morning anyway from my texting friend. The new pub is in the same block as they were in before but several doors further along - must be where the massage parlour used to be, I'm guessing. Anyway that explains the same address.

For anyone over the East Coast way, can thoroughly recommend the pub - real nice people running it. Almost worth a visit back to Singapore again.

I would have thought the idea of a thread like this is not just to get the information requested, but also to spark a conversation about the place as well. A virtual pub conversation, if you like.

Being sarcastic is perfectly acceptable as well (I'm as guilty of that as anyone) if you're trying to be funny with it, but if you're just being a knob, why even bother?

I even did a Google search... but by the time PK had typed the board message she would have done the Google search. And if she did it before posting it here why didn't she say so. And I couldn't find any address on the website

Yep it opened last Friday, a lot bigger than the old place but that's about all that's changed!
