Good baby monitor

Freakin cats howl at each other in my bedroom at night. I can't close the door because then I cant hear the MissesA if they wake up.

Crom suggested a monitor. Problem is I can't bear the crackly noise that I get from my Anglecare and the other one I got was also crackly. Anyone can recommend a good non crackly noise monitor? Dont suggest a video one, that is completely beyond me

We have an Angelcare and there is no crackly noise. Have you tried a different channel ?

I have a Britax one (our third monitor) I got in Robinsons. You can set it to only crackle if there's a noise (!) so you only get feedback/noise if they babies cry (or in our case the elephant neighbours start walking around upstairs). I think intermittent is the word I'm looking for (must enroll in pre-school

)

Baloo, yes we have, wonder if I have set it wrong somewhere else. Will check. Actually to be honest MsA sleeps by herself in her bedroom and MsAII sleeps with me, well in a cot and she uses the Anglecare. So I need one for MsA but if I shut the door then the freakin cats howl outside it. It is very annoying and really pissing me off, I feel like I have never had a good nights sleep. I could lock one outside but then he would get bored and attack the parrots. Sigh. I need to hold an animal sale.

I got a great video one at SimLim back when the skankster was young had great audio & night vision was awesome

After he got old enough we had at the front of the house so we could see who was banging on the gate from the bedroom in the evenings.

Isn't it the Nanny's job to choose the baby monitor? It only needs to work for 5 years because then one bundles the little tyke orf to boarding school...
