Anyone want to buy my Sit N Stroll?

Post by Scrummy Mummy » 12th May, '09, 12:50

For the unitiated, this is an amazing car seat (can use forward or rear facing) which has retractable wheels and a handle, so you can use it as a stroller too.

It's ideal to transport kids in taxis or for holidays (use to airport as car seat, wheel through airport, use as car seat on plane, wheel off other end, strap in taxi), or even as a comfy "cinema seat" for the child to watch a DVD (bad parent alert!).

Sells for $370 new in MothersWork, selling this for $200.

Might be tempted. What's the age limit for it ?

The downer is that it's not certified as a car seat in Oz, but we seem to be flying around enough to possibly warrant it.

Up to about 4 I think - it's the same size as a normal forward facing seat.

Before I rush to take your dosh from you, how old is BBB3? This is truly a fantastic invention but the reason I'm selling it is that mini-S will no longer sit in a car seat on the plane (he's 2 and 4 months). From 10 months till now it was great, but if BBB3 is about the same age (which I think he is) you won't get much use of it. But maybe it's just mini-S who won't sit still!

BBIII is 23 months (shit, his birthday next month). But there might be a need for a sit&stroll type device for another couple of years.

ah crom, I knew the astute ladies here would pick up on that tit bit.

The porumers who were at Daff's dinner caught on fairly quickly when they saw crackers not drinking and not smoking.
