Sam Kekovich's 2009 Australian Day address

Post by Fuzz » 8th Jan, '09, 08:52

This one's for Baloo and other Aussie expats on the board.

Keko's annual Australian Day address for 2009:

A bit lame this year, methinks? :)

Not that I'm going to watch the whole thing but a few questions:

Why is he turning up with the Village People?

And who is Sam Kekovich?

ex-AFL footballer. Sports commentator now.

Hired by the Sheep Industry to promote lamb. His Aussie Day speeches (promoting lamb) have become legendary. Very funny.

Sadly my appreciation of his humour hasn't increased with our moving here. Maybe it will take a few more years.
