December/Jan - internal flight package?

Hiya,

any ideas please on where to look for a discount package (if it exists!) for internal flights in Oz? Thinking of Brisbane to Adelaide / Adelaide Melbourne / Melbourne to Sydney. I don't know yet which carrier I'll be flying from Europe to Oz so I don't know if it's a better idea to, say, fly over on Qantas to get a better internal deal?? Made a bit more complicated by the potential route of ... Frankfurt / Hong Kong / Manila... then Brisbane.

Make sense?

Of course that's peak season so your choice of flights over from Europe may be severely limited.

When we did something like from the UK all those years ago, we came BA/Qantas and all our internal flights were "free". In this instance it may be worth trying a travel agent specialising in Oz - we used Austravel (in Leeds).

You might well end up on Jetstar domestically - in fact they do some international flights too.

Have a look on webjet.com.au Also flightcentre.com.au

I'll also find and send you a link to a long-running thread on another forum that might help.

So when are we meeting up? :)
