It's just a hassle to go elsewhere first thing in the morning. It's winter.
You mean there is too much snow outside ;) Just take a cold shower.. you will be awake and feel energized 8-)

Well our 'winter' is over. Nights back into the mid teens, days mid twenty and above. Pop up for the weekend.

To be fair, yesterday was lovely. Today is too so far but a bit chillier, I think.

I would love a few days in TNQ. Haven't had a holiday this year (lots of time off, no real holiday) so hoping for a week somewhere in the next couple of months. My remaining sanity needs it.

This is the result of our brief winter. A cold night outside (dropped to about 5) and the morning sun coming through the window is very much in demand.

There you go, K, - not only can you have a warm shower at Burby's but there's a ready made bed in the sunshine for you to fall into!

Not sure the animals' doormat would be the best spot to sleep.

Check in to the Westin and spoil yourself. But then, I would say that.

I've never stayed in a Westin. Shangri lahs, Marriotts, Crown Plaza but not a Westin - not sure why? Think there is a new one in Beijing, if I recall the new Sunday breakfast/brunch is the latest expat social thing someone mentioned on my last business trip?

I was quite disappointed with it last time TBH, Snaff. When one is booked on a romantic escape package, one does not expect to have to chase up the "champagne" (twice, IIRC) and we're still waiting for the strawberries. Two years later...

Ouch, that's not very good - that Westin should be way better.

The Chaoyang one in Beijing is great though [smilie=whistle.gif]

Is that because you're now in Pattaya? :P

(You get about a bit - last time I looked I'm sure you were in Macau.)

:D I got to Macau just before the market imploded. Impeccable timing as ever. Love Thailand, but miss Chilli crab and hawker centres (But not so much the Kiasu stuff and flag waving)

Nothing like a hot shower when you haven't had one in a while.
