Nurses do have to know a lot, but nurses now have to go through a university degree to know that much. Shame in the UK there are few nurse aides and the mismanagment of the whole system has let things down.
However, nurses and doctor and anyone else prescribing and giving drugs can always call a pharmacist for information on drug-drug interactions.
