Trailers and comments don't really qualify as spoilers. Yes it does look friggin excellent. Unlike 99% of movies, this one looks good enough to get me to actually go to a cinema and watch it!

I always call that Arsehole Version I(Mild) Fat Bob Head. Not that hard to talk about something coming up without ruining it surely.
I enjoyed the last one, and will happily head to Into Darkness episode. These things are a must on large screen! And Cumberbatch does villian so well.

Aw, thanks Tas, you've got around to naming my moods. So lovely of you!
Took me a while to think of who the villain was, it's the 21st Century Sherlock! Why do British actors always play such good villains? I know the idea behind classical training is there, but does that count for the newer ones?

Re: Star Trek Into Darkness
Saw this last night. Fan-bloody-tastic! Really enjoyed, good story line, like the tie-in to the original series without just reshooting the old episodes/movies, and starts building the legends of the reboot!
Effects were good, you really thought the spaceships were doing what they are doing, though I never knew warp drives left a trail of ice crystals behind.....

The first one was on the TV the other night, and I watched it wrapped, thinking wow they really did a good job of the reboot, having forgotten a big chunk from my first watching - and considering I'm not a particular fan of a couple of the actors and was able to get over it pretty quick, tells me even more what a good job they did with version 1. Going to have to get into Gold Class soon for this one. Just worried am getting the over expectation jeebies now.

Saw in 3D last Sunday and again yesterday in 2D - just to be sure... IT FRIGGEN ROCKS... I loved this film - I loved Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan and this retelling in alternate time line in a total switch of roles was just awesome.

I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book. Groucho Marx
What is the average salary of a MSc(Master) degree holder

At present I am working professional in oil and gas govern sector having an experience of 5 yrs as mechanical technical engineer . Based on my profile after completing the course, how tough is for me to get the job
Re: Star Trek Into Darkness
Well as long as you can find a job that doesn't list the ability to read as a required skill, then you should be fine

Happy Birthday PP
Maybe, with the lack of posts, it does make sense to only have one uber thread per sub-forum, or the whole forum even.

I love 3D but must admit I didn't notice a big difference

Loved the movie, but the best part in 3D was the end credit sequence.
