In Time
I'm intrigued to see In Time. From the creator of Gattaca, one of my favourite movies, In Time takes us not too far into the future, where the ravages of time have been thwarted; everyone ages until 25, whereupon they have to start working to earn any more time to keep living - unless you're born into wealth and power. If so, it's no problem to buy decades, or even centuries of existence.
It's being called cerebral sci-fi that locates its roots in human nature. No aliens, no robots, no spaceships - just people. And hopefully this movie will be executed with as much style as Gattaca was. Out later this month.

Looks like fun! Thanks, Bender.
A woman walked into a pub and asked the barman for a double entendre. So he gave it to her.
Re: In Time
I've seen posters around and I really want to see it. It's screening in Singapore now.

I like the idea of this. I was a huge SF reader as a kid eons ago, seems like something I read before.
I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book. Groucho Marx
Re: In Time
Blade Runner it's not, but quite entertaining.

Blade Runner is awesome, so maybe you will like In Time. I found it entertaining but not worth the $$. Download it.Fat Bob wrote:Blade Runner is crap. So this is good?nev wrote:Blade Runner it's not, but quite entertaining.

Blade Runner is not awesome. Blade Runner is slow and ponderous.

In Time was Not Bad, not great.
Cool cars, lots of sexy young people, since everyone stops aging at 25.
