Dog "gastric" issues
Stool is a but watery and yellow... And there is a small part of it is pink... However it is not apparent if it contains blood... Is it normal for dogs to have a but of red in stool after diarrhea? Any recommendations?
Re: Had diarrhea
Yes, go see a vet.

Re: Had diarrhea
Thanks baloo, this does not seem to fix the problem though. I can still see this thread and the title, which I find really offensive.baloo wrote:Tas wrote:seriously, this is putting me off logging on, can someone at least change the title.

I just don't like the word for runny poos at all, and seeing it really grosses me out on the daily post thingie, particularly when I was eating chocolate, hence request to title change.

Re: Had diarrhea
We could change the title to "gastric", the good ole Singaporean code word for the same thing if that helps.
Made some changes for you.
Do note though, he is talking about a dog and it's in the pets forum...

Fine, but that's hardly the OP's problem I would think.

Oh that's obvious its the dog and right place for it, seems genuine enough and getting the lay of land/planet still. Ta Muchly, can eat my chocolate Freddo frog on my next break with the porum without the visual comparisons grossing me outbaloo wrote:We could change the title to "gastric", the good ole Singaporean code word for the same thing if that helps.

Re: Dog "gastric" issues
That's ok Peter, just a bit of calm down would probably work for you a bit, nothing wrong with asking about your pet, there is lots of animal lovers on the forum. Must say though, what does sound weird is suggesting this is a topic that makes VETS uncomfortable, are you sure about that?? It's a common enough topic of discussion for both human doctors and pet vets, that doesn't sound right or true at all. The vet is the right place to go with this problem if it's going on for more than a couple days - people on any forum will never be able to help. And for your future advice - continual appearance of blood in the stool in any creature, human, monkey, dog, bear, lion, mouse should be medically investigated by a doctor or specialist with a little camera and numbing cream.

Are there any non-human doctors? Or is that where you get lab reports and cat scans from?Tas wrote: (yadda yadda).... human doctors .......(yadda yadda)
